Books, not my Foes !!

This is my first Blog !!
There was a time when reading or writing didn’t intrigue me and my parents tried their best to make me read books, but all in vain. Once my English teacher asked us to write a book review for which I had to read a book. The first-ever book I read was ‘The Magic of The Lost Temple’ by Sudha Murty. The book convinced me that reading wasn’t that bad. I wasn’t ready to accept the fact that I liked what I was doing, ‘reading’. But slowly I started reading more books. I won't say that I love reading or we can sit and discuss the books I've read, no. I'm not a frequent reader or something called a ‘Bookworm’. I cannot sit and read books for an entire day with a mug of coffee to compliment it. But I like reading articles, blogs, or even experiences.

    Wonderful - straight and honest . It's important to start and small . You've done it and that makes you a winner. It was a delight to read that the book review did open a window. Good Saaniya, keep writing and you will get better with time.

A couple of days back I was informed that my college lectures will be conducted online. I was quite excited to learn from this new online platform. All of my online learning sessions were quite good. Today I received some screenshots from my friends regarding a disgusting act happening during an online lecture. The teachers give in their all to adjust to this new platform of teaching, preparing presentations, and explaining it. They do it for us. We should be the responsible ones, be aware of this, and respect them. A handful of students trolled the teachers upon their camera angles, way of teaching, and accent. Some also had the audacity to talk about the teacher in the middle of an ongoing session, completely off track. These guys had the effrontery to use abbreviations of abusive content. Indians have hard time in choosing between believing in science or superstitions. It is presumed contemporarily by beings of our country that truth is represented by ‘science’ and false assumptions by superstitions. Each holds a different place in the hearts of Indians. Science has made it possible for us to reach on the moon and work on advancement of technologies. But living in this era of advancement, some of us moderately welcome new thoughts and believe in superstitions, or rather superstitions based upon ignorance and dismay.
