A Man Without Liberty Is A Body Without Soul : Partly Yes !

Everyone has some goals to accomplish in their lives. Each one has a different approach towards the journey of accomplishment of goals. One may either have a statistical plan into the process or may set themselves free to live life knowing the efforts they need to take to reach their desired peak of success. A planned and disciplined life may add up to the efforts one is taking but may necessarily not let someone be happy. But an equally balanced life that is one with discipline and liberty may experience satisfaction or contentment in every task.

Liberty may not be limited to achieving something but in normal life too. Too many restrictions may spoil one’s life. A person without autonomy may choose the wrong path to experience things that a person with freedom does. For instance, if you restrict your child completely from having spicy or sweet food as it is not good for health, he may never experience or understand what spicy or sweet means. Herein if you give him limited liberty and let him have spicy or sweet food in minimal quantity, the desire of your child for spicy or sweet food and your worry about his health, both may be satisfied. All of us are known as to why children should be kept away from mobile phones. But instead of prohibiting mobiles for your child, you can regulate its use. For instance, I have grown up seeing phones in my parents hands and always wished to own one until they bought one for me. My parents never let me play unproductive games on their phones but instead made me listen to music, watch dance and informative videos, etc. Limited liberty does contribute to happiness and contentment in one’s life

We often say that life is beautiful, but it consists of both favourable and unfavourable factors, from which we need to choose with the liberty we have. A virus has despaired our lives in many ways but has also created awareness about etiquette and hygiene. The beauty of life depends on how you use your liberty in making choices of life
